Think of it like a horse track. All the money bet on a market goes into one big pot, and the people who picked the winner split the pot based on how much they put in.
Example: Say the Low Net 1st pool has $200 total. $50 was bet on Dave across all bettors. Dave wins. Everyone who bet on Dave splits the full $200 proportionally. If you put in $25 of that $50 on Dave, you get back $100 (a 4x return). The other $150 that was bet on other players? That's what funds your payout.
• Minimum bet: $5 per market
• No maximum: Bet as much as you want on any market
• Bet types: Win, Place, or Show (W/P/S) on each market
• Bet on anyone: You can bet on yourself, other players, or multiple players
• Not required to bet on yourself
• One bet per player per market: You pick your guy and your amount — that's it
• Win: You're betting that player finishes 1st in the market
• Place: You're betting that player finishes 1st or 2nd
• Show: You're betting that player finishes 1st, 2nd, or 3rd
Place & Show are safer bets but pay less. Win is riskier but the payout is bigger.
• Low Net 1st/2nd/3rd: Lowest score after handicap is applied
• Low Gross: Lowest raw score (no handicap)
• Team Match: Pick which team wins their head-to-head (lowest combined net)
• Net Skins: Pick who wins the most validated net skins
The odds shown (like "4.0x") update in real-time as bets come in. If you see ∞ next to a player, that means nobody has bet on them yet — if you're the first and they win, you'll get a huge payout.
Odds go down as more money piles onto a favorite. Early bets on longshots = best value.
Nobody bet on the winner (Win market):
If no one holds a winning ticket in the Win pool, all Win bets are refunded in full. Your money comes back — no one profits, no one loses.
Nobody bet on a Place/Show finisher:
If there are no winning tickets in the Place or Show pools, those bets are also refunded.
Ties:
If two or more players tie for a position, the payout pool is split among everyone who bet on any of the tied players, proportional to their bet amounts.
Only one person bet on the winner:
They win the entire pool. That's the beauty of betting on the longshot!
After scores are entered and the round is finalized, the app calculates everyone's net position (up or down across all markets).
Guys who are down pay guys who are up via Venmo or Zelle outside the app. Simple as that.

Enter each player's 18-hole gross score. The app will calculate net scores using their handicap and automatically determine Win (1st), Place (top 2), and Show (top 3).
Win/Place/Show are auto-settled from scores above. Use Settle for any markets that need manual picks (Team Match, etc.).

All markets settled? Hit the button — payouts calculate instantly and the Settlement screen goes live for everyone.
